The city of Malaga stands on the south coast of Spain. If you hire a car at Malaga Airport you’ll find that the city itself is eight miles to the north-east. This is the main international airport for the province of Andalusia and the Costa del Sol tourism area. Malaga is just a few minutes drive away and it’s easy to reach popular resorts like Torremolinos, just five miles south, and Fuengirola, 16 miles to the south west.
